Everyone in the class has committed to reading two AR bbooks over the fortnight break. We look forward to completing many more Quizzes when we return on January 9th 2017.
Robin Redbreast
UncategorizedThe robin is probably the most familiar garden bird. Most of our class has spotted robins over the last three weeks. The bright orange/red breast and facial features area make the robin unmistakable. Its upperparts a uniform greyish brown, belly and lower breast greyish white. The bill is dark and pointed and the legs black. Many robinsappear very plump and rounded, especially in cold weather when the bird fluffs out its feathers.
3D Paper Christmas Tree
UncategorizedWe will create these origami Christmas trees in class!
Christmas is for sharing
UncategorizedOn Christmas Day 1914, the opposing troops laid down their arms, crossed “no-man’s land”, shared some food and played a game of football. This clip commemorates an extraordinary event which took place during the First World War one hundred years ago: the Christmas Truce.

UncategorizedThe Last Wolf
UncategorizedDue to the popularity of our last novel, my arm has been twisted into studying another short novel with the class. After deliberating we decided on guided reading ‘The Last Wolf’ by Michael Morpurgo.
“A fantasy tale of friendship between a boy and a wolf that straddles time, taking in the highlands of Scotland and the high seas.”
